Binny Plants has been growing hardy perennial plants for 29 years in what used to be the old, walled kitchen garden of the Binny Estate near Edinburgh, Scotland. We have extended the business over the years to supply a variety of hardy plants, including Ferns, Hosta’s, Roses, trees and shrubs as well as rare plants from across the globe.
Peonies are our biggest specialism ranging from herbaceous Peonies, Itoh or Intersectional Peonies and tree Peonies.
Binny Plants have been attending the RHS Chelsea Flower Show for the past 11 years and been awarded medals for each show. In 2022, we received our first Gold Medal for our Peonies and Perennial display and hope to keep this up for years to come.
We attend a number of plant fairs and shows including, Great Dixter Spring and Autumn fairs, RHS Chelsea Flower show, Scone Place Plant fair, SRGC events as well as the St Andrews plant fair, just to name a few.

All our plants are grown in peat-free growing media as we think this is the responsible option and we also have superb results. Happy plants make us happy nurserymen.
We supply plants across the UK by mail order. Due to Brexit, we are no longer able to supply plants to Northern Ireland or any other countries. We do hope that this will change in the near future.
